site.btaZORA Retail Chain Opens BGN 30 Mln Logistics Centre near Sofia

The ZORA retail chain for white and brown goods and office equipment opened a new logistics and office centre in the Sofia-Bojurishte Industrial Park (13 km northwest of Sofia).

The facility, which occupies 23,000 sq m and cost BGN 30 million to construct, will enable ZORA to increase its capacity and efficiency and ensure better service to its customers. At the next stage of the investment project, there are plans to build one more warehouse section and a photovoltaic power plant.

Inaugurating the centre, Bulgarian Deputy Economy and Industry Minister Ivaylo Shotev said that his Ministry attaches particular importance to ensuring predictability and rendering support in the procurement of the requisite resources, so that companies could develop successfully, enter new markets, and add value to their production. Shotev expressed support for the implementation of more investment projects, the creation or more jobs, and the availability of a better and more predictable business climate for local and foreign investors.
