site.btaParliament Adopts Conclusively Requirements on Fertilizers

Farmers are required to keep records of the quantities and type of used fertilizers, soil enhancers, biologically active substances and enrichment substrates sold without a CE labelling or under EC labelling. This is envisaged under changes to the Plant Protection Act adopted conclusively on Wednesday. MPs were unable to adopt the entire bill. 

The Bulgarian Food Safety Agency has been designated as the body which supervises the fertilizers market.
