The production of electricity in Bulgaria decreased by 17.61% for the period between January 1 and April 9, 2023 compared to the same period in 2022, show data from the latest operational report on the energy balance in the country by the Electricity System Operator ( ESO), published on the operator's page on Tuesday. From the beginning of the year to April 9, electricity production was reported in the amount of 13,260,363 megawatt hours, while for the same period of 2022 it was 16,093,851 megawatt hours.
