Sofia Summer Fest will start on July 10 until September 14, organizers said.

The sixth edition of the festival will take place in the South Park 2, behind the Earth and People Museum. For yet another year, Vasil Naydenov will open the festival on July 10.

The audiences will see theatre, stand-up comedies, cinema and a varied children's programme. The theatre programme includes the productions “My Wife's Name is Boris”, “A Ticket to America”, “A Game for Two”, “Poor France”, “My Father's Name is Mary - In the Village,” “Gun in a Tornado”, “A Ticket to America”, “Boom Boom: The Evolution of Criminal Thinking,” “Only Not That Name”.

On July 28, for another year, Kerana will celebrate her birthday with her band Kerana and the Cosmonauts. The musical programme also features Stefan Vuldobrev and The Usual Suspects, as well as The Four Pianists - in August.

For stand-up comedy lovers, the program includes the shows "The Golden Boys" with Kapitana, Kyuchukov and Donski, "Sofia vs. the Countryside" by Inside Joke Stand Up and a comedy show by Zdrava Kamenova.

And this year Sofia Summer Fest will have a special program for children every weekend. The second edition of the Festival of Contemporary Bulgarian and European Children's and Youth Cinema is also part of the event.
