Vesela Lecheva, president-elect of the Bulgarian Olympic Committee (BOC), and her predecessor Stefka Kostadinova, who stayed in office 20 years, expressed their readiness to head together the organization.
The two held a meeting on Wednesday at the BOC headquarters, after which they gave a joint news briefing. They said they had agreed on the first three points of the declaration proposed earlier in the day by Kostadinova and gave themselves a three-week deadline to elaborate a fourth point. Lecheva said this would involve both undersigning BOC's decisions until the court rules on the appeal against the results of the General Assembly in March this year.
