The Johann Strauss Virtuosen Orchestra from Vienna has included Bulgaria in its world tour, dedicated to the 200th birth anniversary of composer Johann Strauss II. The Viennese orchestra will give seven open-air concerts across the country under the baton of Maestro Guido Mancusi, the organizers said Tuesday.

The tour in Bulgaria will start in Shumen on July 31, followed by concerts in Veliko Tarnovo on August 2, Varna on August 3, Burgas on August 4, Plovdiv on August 5, Stara Zagora on August 6, and Sofia on August 7.

Every country included in the tour is represented by a leading national philharmonic orchestra, and for Bulgaria that will be the Pleven Philharmonic, the organizers also said.
