For the second consecutive night, the Ukrainian port city of Odesa and its region have been attacked with drones, Mayor Gennadiy Trukhanov reported via the Telegram app.

Air raid sirens were activated at 20:43. Nearly thirty drones attacked Odesa, Chornomorsk, and Yuzhni from the Black Sea area, local Telegram channels reported. Regional authorities urged residents to head to bomb shelters.

Odesa Region is home to the third-largest community of expatriate Bulgarians, with more than 150,000 people, according to Ukraine’s 2001 population census. Between 50,000 and 60,000 Bulgarians live in the regional capital, Odesa, while others are concentrated in the districts of Bolhrad, Izmail, and Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi.
