Turkiye aims to welcome 65 million tourists in 2025, with tourism revenues expected to reach USD 64 billion, Turkish Culture and Tourism Minister Nuri Ersoy said on Wednesday. According to Ersoy, Turkiye continues to set records in the tourism sector. Ersoy was speaking at a press conference during the ITB international tourism exhibition in Berlin. He highlighted the upward trend in tourism and announced the country's goals for 2025, the Turkish Ministry of Culture and Tourism said in a press release sent to BTA.

Ersoy recalled that in 2024, Turkiye welcomed 62.3 million visitors, generating tourism revenues of USD 61.1 billion. He noted that per capita overnight spending increased from USD 83 in 2017 to USD 108 in 2024.

He added that in 2024, Turkiye welcomed 6.7 million visitors from Russia, 6.6 million from Germany, and 4.4 million visitors from the United Kingdom.
