site.btaMinistry of Culture: 47th Session of UNESCO World Heritage Committee to Be Held in July

On March 5, 2025, the bureau of the World Heritage Committee met to discuss the venue for the upcoming 47th session of the Committee, scheduled to take place July 6-16, the press office of the Ministry of Culture said on Wednesday.

Following consultations between Bulgarian institutions and UNESCO, the bureau agreed to organize the 47th session of the World Heritage Committee at UNESCO Headquarters in Paris from July 6 to 16. 

As initially decided, the session will be organized with the financial support of the Republic of Bulgaria as host and under the chairmanship of Prof. Dr. Nikolay Nenov (Bulgaria), the release said.
