Snowboarder Tervel Zamfirov won second consecutive junior world championship in parallel slalom here on Wednesday, while his sister Malena Zamfirova snagged the silver in the same discipline at the FIS Snowboard Junior World Championships in Zakopane, Poland. This is Zamfirova's first world championship and second silver medal in two days. 

On Tuesday, Tervel won the parallel giant slalom in the competition.

In a repeat of Tuesday's final, Zamfirov finished 1.32 seconds ahead of Italian Tommy Rabanser. This week Tervel won his second and third junior world championship after he previously enjoyed a victory in Bansko in 2023.

His sister, Malena, was left 0.13 seconds away from first world title. The competition was won by Switzerland's Xenia von Siebenthal.
