Wiener Mozart Orchestra will perform at Hall 1 of the National Palace of Culture on May 31, organizers BGTSC said here on Friday.

As its name indicates, the orchestra focuses exclusively on the music of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, one of the most esteemed composers of the classical period. Its repertoire includes all of Mozart’s symphonies, a variety of instrumental concertos for violin, piano, and wind instruments, along with arias and duets from his renowned operas.

"For this special concert, the audience will see 30 musicians on stage, accompanied by a soprano and a baritone, performing some of Mozart’s most celebrated and beloved pieces," the organizers said.

The Wiener Mozart Orchestra was established in 1986. When performing locally, its concerts are held in the prestigious Golden Hall Musikverein. Many musicians from esteemed orchestras and ensembles, such as members of the Vienna Philharmonic and the Vienna Symphony Orchestra, collaborate with the orchestra, along with soloists and conductors from renowned opera houses worldwide.
