Paintings by Jules Pascin, Svetlin Rusev, Zlatyu Boyadzhiev, and Dechko Uzunov are among 140 works displayed at Sofia's Artmark until December 16. A day later, the paintings will be offered at an auction, the organizers said.

Among the authors are Georgi Bozhilov, Genko Genkov, Dimiter Buyukliiski, Nayden Petkov, Nikola Tanev, Assen Peykov, and Bencho Obreshkov.

The organizers describe Jules Pascin as one of the most remarkable artists of the School of Paris in the first half of the 20th century. Before being shown in Sofia, his painting Hermine David and Her Friends featured in over ten international exhibitions from New York to Munich, Nizza, Geneva, and Vienna.

Also on display at Artmark is Still Life with Primroses by Elisaveta Konsulova-Vazova, one of the first Bulgarian female artists who after graduating from the newly established State Painting School under Yaroslav Veshin specializes in the Academy of the Society of Women Artists in Munich.

Also to be exhibited is Dechko Uzunov's The Sunflower Garden, a wide-format oil composition the likes of which are rarely presented on the art market.

Zlatyu Boyadzhiev is presented with The Old Mill.
