site.btaBTA and Troyan Municipality Sign Media Partnership Agreement

Bulgarian News Agency (BTA) Director General Kiril Valchev and Troyan Mayor Donka Mihaylova signed a partnership agreement at BTA's new press club in the mountain town on Friday.

Under the agreement, BTA will act as the municipality’s media partner and will promote the Cultural Events Calendar by sharing information via text, images, and sound. In return, the municipality will grant BTA access to events it organizes or co-organizes, allowing BTA to cover them.

The two institutions will work together to support and promote cultural events in Troyan.

Valchev said that after Sofia Municipality, Troyan is the second municipality that BTA has signed a media partnership agreement with, to comprehensively promote the Cultural Events Calendar.

The signing of the agreement coincides with the start of the Bulgarian Plum Festival, which opens with a parade in the town centre.
