8th Day of Apollonia Art Festival to Feature Book Launch by Alexander Sekulov, Beloslava Concert

The eighth day of the Apollonia Art Festival  will begin with a book launch by Alexander Sekulov and end with a concert by singer Beloslava.

The literary programme includes presentations of two editions of the Hermes publishing house. The books Praise for the Province by Alexander Sekulov and House of Bees by Tsanko Lalev will be presented to the Sozopol public in the Art Gallery in the seaside town.

The Plovdiv Drama Theatre will present A Behanding in Spokane by Martin McDonough under the direction of Elitsa Yovcheva and performed by actors Dobrin Dosev, Todor Darlyanov, Maria Sotirova, Emmanuel Kabanga.

A String Sextet concert will be held at the Sozopol Archaeological Museum, featuring Lia Petrova (violin), Valya Dervenska (violin), Stefania Yankova (viola), Rumen Tsvetkov (viola), Alexander Somov (cello) and Ivan Lalev (cello).

In the summer cinema, the audience will be able to watch the Bulgarian film The Last Seagull directed by Tonislav Hristov.

Beloslava will take stage at the Apollonia amphitheatre with the concert Welcome to 74th Street. It will feature some of the singer's most beloved and familiar songs, as well as her latest single "My Soul". For the first time, she will also perform international classics.

The organizers said that the concert is dedicated to Beloslava's 25th anniversary on stage and her creative partnership with pianist Zhivko Petrov. Together with them, Dimitar Semov (drums), Dimitar Karamfilov (double bass) and Mladen Dimitrov (programming and percussion) will also be on stage.
