For yet another year, the Tourism Ministry has organized the participation of Bulgaria in the international tourism exhibition International French Travel Market (IFTM) Top Resa 2024, which will be held in Paris between September 17 and 19 in Paris, the Ministry said on Wednesday. 

In 2024, the area of the Bulgarian stand has more than doubled to 85.50 sq m from 2023 as a result of the continued interest by the Bulgarian tourism sector and the registered visitors to the stand. This is evidenced by the steadily growing number of co-exhibitors at the Bulgarian stand, which exceeds the levels of declared interest in the pre-pandemic period. In 2024, a total of eight travel companies and municipalities have applied for participation at the Bulgarian stand. 

The International French Travel Market (IFTM) Top Resa ranks among the largest professional travel exchanges in Western Europe. For the three days in which it takes place, it unites the French and global tourism sector, including in its portfolio companies with a variety of profiles and destinations from all over the world. In 2024, the theme of the exhibition is dedicated to the idea of new sustainable horizons in response to the many challenges faced by the tourism industry - environmental, digital, economic and social problems. IFTM 2024 will aim to promote individual and collective responsibilities, the statement said.
