site.btaKing Abdullah II of Jordan to Visit Bulgaria for High-Level Talks with President Radev
At the invitation of President Rumen Radev, His Majesty King Abdullah II of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan will pay an official visit to Bulgaria, the President’s press secretariat said on Wednesday.
The two heads of state are expected to discuss opportunities for advancing cooperation in the economy, defence, science and education, agriculture, and tourism, as well as issues concerning international security.
Radev will welcome King Abdullah II with an official ceremony on April 3, at St. Alexander Nevsky Square. King Abdullah II will also pay tribute at the Monument to the Unknown Soldier.
They will then hold a private meeting at the Presidency, followed by plenary talks between the official delegations of both countries.
On the second day of the visit, President Radev and King Abdullah II will co-host a high-level meeting in Sofia as part of the Aqaba Process initiative. At the beginning of April, heads of state, government representatives, and members of intergovernmental and non-governmental organizations will meet, at the invitation of President Radev and King Abdullah II, to discuss the security environment with a focus on the Balkans.
