Bulgaria’s Chief of Defence, Admiral Emil Eftimov, will take part in a meeting of defence chiefs during the second edition of the Paris Defence and Strategy Forum that will take place from March 10 to 12 under the auspices of French President Emmanuel Macron. The forum will be hosted at the Military School of the French Armed Forces, the Bulgarian Defence Ministry’s press service said on Monday.

Themed "Europe at the Crossroads", the event is expected to bring together leading experts and political and military leaders from around the world, providing a platform for discussions on current defence and security issues.

The chiefs of defence meeting will focus on the ongoing military conflict in Ukraine. Military leaders will assess the security challenges the war is posing to Europe and explore possible strategies for ending the conflict and reaching peace arrangements that guarantee Ukraine's security, the press release said.
