site.btaAnnual Meeting of Local Authorities Begins in Albena Resort

The annual meeting of local authorities, organized by the National Association of the Municipalities in the Republic of Bulgaria (NAMRB), starts Sunday in the Albena resort, NAMRB announced. President Rumen Radev will participate in the opening ceremony at 4 pm, his press secretariat said.

In addition to the head of State, the Mayor of Balchik Nikolay Angelov and the Chairman of NAMRB Daniel Panov will address the guests. 

The plenary session in the Perunika conference hall will be attended by the caretaker Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance Lyudmila Petkova, caretaker Ministers of Regional Development and Public Works Violeta Koritarova and of Innovation and Growth Rosen Karadimov, Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food Lozana Vassileva, and MEP Andrey Novakov.

Before the official start of the forum, the traditional Municipal Expo will be opened in front of the conference centre. 

At the plenary session, the 2024 Annual Awards of the NAMRB will be presented.

The forum will continue until October 15. Interim Ministers of Innovation and Growth Rosen Karadimov and Environment and Water Petar Dimitrov will take part in the plenary sessions in the coming days.
