Germany's Ramona Theresia Hofmeister concluded a perfect FIS Snowboard World Cup weekend in Bansko on Sunday after she won the parallel giant slalom in both of the days in the Bulgarian winter resort. Sunday's race finished with her third consecutive victory.

In the final, Hofmeister beat Japan's Tsubaki Miki in a repeat of Saturday's final. Third place went to the Netherlands' Michelle Dekker.

Radoslav Yankov's third place in the men's parlallel giant slalom was not the only for the Bulgarian fans in Bansko to rejoice. 15-year-old talant Milena Zamfirova improved on her Saturday's result and was 0.37 seconds away from joining the direct eliminations, leaving her in 19th place.

After her impressive performance, the teenager, who debuted at the highest stage a day ago, expressed satisfaction with her result: "I have a very long way to go. I know it is going to happen - I am going to ride in finals and get podiums someday. After this ranking, I have the opportunity to go to another World Cup this season, but it is up to my dad if he decides to take me. I know my place and I think I can do better at a European Cup," she added.
