The mountains offer good hiking conditions on Friday, the Mountain Rescue Service of the Bulgarian Red Cross told BTA.

There are scattered clouds and light wind in the higher parts of the mountains, with temperatures around 0C.  

The facilities in the resorts of Bansko and Pamporovo are operational.

The weather in the mountains will be mostly sunny, with clouds gradually increasing from the west, according to the National Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology. Light to moderate west-southwesterly wind. Highs: around 9C at 1,200 meters and around 2C at 2,000 meters.
