Customs officials detained 162 bottles of fluorocarbons (freon) without documentation at the border crossing checkpoint near Vidin, the Customs Agency said on Wednesday.

The bottles, which had a total weight of 1,620 kg, were found during the inspection of two trucks with Bulgarian registration numbers. The discovered metal bottles had inscriptions in Turkish and English and the indication that they contain Freon 404A. The Customs Agency detained the bottles due to a lack of documents for the transport of fluorocarbons.
