Bulgaria's trade balance for February showed a deficit of EUR 367.9 million compared to EUR 339.4 million in the same month 2024, said Bulgarian National Bank. 

Exports of goods were EUR 3.39 billion for February, increasing by EUR 23.7 million on an annual basis, 0.7% of the gross domestic product (GDP). 

Imports of goods were EUR 3.76 billion, increasing by EUR 52.1 million (1.4%) compared to the same month last year. 

The services balance for January was positive at EUR 477 million compared to a positive balance of EUR 474.2 million  for February 2024.

For February, the country's current and capital accounts were negative and amounted to EUR 315.9 million compared to a negative balance of EUR 183.3 million for the same month of 2024.

The capital account was positive and amounted to EUR 76.2 million compared to a deficit of EUR 126.1 million for February last year.

The financial account was negative by EUR 729.1 million compared to a negative value of EUR 173 million for February 2024.
