site.btaVratsa Opens Donors' Alley

An alley with more than 20 of the biggest donors of Vratsa from the 18th century to the present was opened on Sunday in the center of the city. The Donors' Alley was built entirely on the initiative and with the money of the Vratsa Rotary Club, its President Marin Georgiev told BTA.

"Our goal is to leave a mark of the residents of Vratsa who have donated to the city over the years and to inspire young people to become like them," said Georgiev.

Assistance in the selection of donors and the collection of data was provided by experts from the Regional History Museum. Among the presented donors are Todor Dimitriev Hadjiyski, Mito Orozov, Metropolitan Konstantin Vratchanski, as well as women's charitable organisations in Vratsa.
