Two Men Indicted with Racially Motivated Attempted Murder

Sofia, June 27 (BTA) - The Sofia City Prosecution Office has indicted two men with the attempted murder of a foreign national acting out of racism and xenophobia.

On January 29 2015, the two attacked a resident of a refugee centre with a knife which went into his chest cavity and he had to receive an emergency operation.

One of the attackers has convictions for hooliganism and the other ongoing proceedings against him including for attempted murder.
