Commission on Disclosure of Affiliation with Communist-era State Security Announces Affiliation of 645 People in December 2015 to July 2016

Sofia, January 12 (BTA) - Parliament Thursday adopted the report on the work of the Commission on Disclosure of Documents and Announcing Bulgarian Citizens' Affiliation to State Security and the Intelligence Services of the Bulgarian People's Army for the period December 20, 2015 - July 20, 2016.

In the period in question the Commission checked 23,639 Bulgarian citizens and declared the affiliation of 645.

The report includes information about the creation of centralized archives for the documents from the former State Security and the Bulgarian People's Army.
