Over 3 Kg of Heroin Seized at Kapitan Andreevo Border Crossing

Haskovo, February 20 (BTA) - Customs officers have found 3.394 kg of heroin, valued at 305,460 leva, on three female passengers travelling from Turkey, the Customs Agency reported on Monday.

All three are Bulgarian citizens and were travelling by car. One of the suspects is a minor. They had the heroin wrapped around their bodies or hidden in their underwear.

The Bourgas Customs Office has initiated pre-trial proceedings. The two adult women are in custody and the minor has been placed under supervision.
