Supreme Administrative Prosecution Office Finds Numerous Regulations in Health Care Sector that Were not Adopted

Sofia, February 21 (BTA) - The Supreme Administrative Prosecution Office (SAPO) has acted in response to media publications that a number of regulations in the health care sector have not been adopted, SAPO reported in a Tuesday press release.

A check has collected data that some 36 statutory instruments of statutory instruments of secondary legislation were failed to be adopted in accordance with the requirements of the Medical Treatment Establishments Act, the Human Medicinal Products Act, the Health Act and the Protection from the Harmful Impact of the Chemical Substances and Mixtures Act.

For the most part the regulations in question concern the Health Act and were supposed to be issued by the relevant health minister.

The check is pending.
