Singer Poly Genova to Represent Bulgaria at 2016 Eurovision Song Contest

Sofia, February 19 (BTA) - Singer Poly Genova will represent Bulgaria at the 2016 Eurovision Song Contest in Stockholm, the Bulgarian National Television (BNT) said in a press release Friday. This will be Genova's second appearance in the competition. Genova took part in the 2011 edition of the contest and was the host of the 2015 Junior Eurovision in Sofia last year.

The song Genova will sing at the 2016 Eurovision event will be created by established Bulgarian and foreign professionals.

BNT said that due to financial constrictions, no national competition has been held this year to select Bulgaria's representative at the 2016 Eurovision Song Contest.
