No Bulgarians Hurt in Earthquake in Central Italy

Sofia, January 18 (BTA) - No data had arrived as at the afternoon on Wednesday about Bulgarians hurt in the seriers of earthquakes in central Italy, Foreign Minister Daniel Mitov said in a Facebook post.

News agencies reported that a series of strong earthquakes hit central Italy on Wednesday, including the capital Rome, forcing schools to be evacuated and rail links to close, although there were no immediate reports of serious damage or injury. The multiple tremors, including three above magnitude five, were clustered around a region which was battered by a spate of deadly quakes last year.
