Changes in Management of BDZ EAD Holding, Railway Infrastructure National Company

Sofia, February 8 (BTA) - Changes have been made in the management of the Bulgarian State Railways (BDZ) Holding EAD and in the Railway Infrastructure National Company, in pursuance of a decision to this effect of caretaker Minister of Transport, IT and Communications Hristo Alexiev, the Ministry said.

Hitherto head of the BDZ Holding EAD Vladimir Vladimirov was relieved of his post and is to be succeeded by newly-appointed Executive Director Georgi Droumev.

Droumev is a railway expert with a long experience in BDZ. During different periods of his work he has been head of the BDZ Cargo division.

In the Railway Infrastructure National Company, Director General Milcho Lambrev has been relieved of his post and is to be succeeded by Krassimir Papoupkchiiski.

Papouskchiiski's entire career so far has been in railway infrastructure. He has held senior positions in the division for rail traffic and station management. In 2012 he was appointed deputy head, and then head, of the unit for the management of EU-funded projects.
