National Assembly Chairman Dimiter Glavchev Meets Slovak Counterpart Andrej Danko

Bratislava, April 25 (BTA) - Bulgarian National Assembly Chairman Dimiter Glavchev and his Slovak counterpart Andrej Danko discussed Tuesday the opportunities for cooperation between Bulgaria and Slovakia. The subject was occasioned by Bulgaria's forthcoming Presidency of the Council of EU in the first half of 2018, the National Assembly said Tuesday.

Glavchev said Bulgaria's will be an active Presidency. The sides exchanged opinions on various aspects of this country's preparations for a successful presidency.

While holding the rotating Presidency in 2018, Bulgaria will work to achieve a uniform vision for the future of the Union, Glavchev said at a meeting with the chairs of national parliaments in Bratislava. The Slovak side presented the achievements of the Slovak Presidency and its parliamentary dimension.
