A record number of innovations are expected within the 78th edition of the International Technical Fair in Plovdiv, which starts on Wednesday and will last until September 28.

Manufacturers and trade representatives from 25 countries will take part in the specialized exhibitions, showcasing modern ecological construction, mechanical engineering, energy, digital technologies in production, home and trade, heavy machinery, hybrid vehicles and unmanned aerial vehicles.

An international competition for innovative products will take place once again. The prize winners will be announced at a special ceremony September 26 at the Plovdiv Congress Centre within the Plovdiv Fairground.

The competition will take place in the following categories:  mechanical engineering and robotic systems; electronics and electrical engineering; information and digital technologies, telecommunications, office equipment; transport and car service equipment;  energy and ecology, water technology and management, chemical industry; construction; and others.

The Fair’s 78th edition impresses with the innovations of Bulgarian companies. Bulgarian businesses are increasingly relying on their own rational solutions, which they successfully implement in their activities. Among the contenders for the top recognition are machines, technologies, digital developments for control and management of various processes. Seismic-proof products with mobile capabilities, off-road equipment, urban cleaning equipment and more stand out, organizers say.
