site.btaTourism Ministry Presents Bulgaria at TTWarsaw Tourist Exhibition
The Tourism Ministry presented Bulgaria with a national stand of 230 square metres at the TTWarsaw International Tourism Exhibition. The event was held between November 23-25, in Warsaw, Poland, the Ministry said on Tuesday.
The Bulgarian stand generated a lot of interest among visitors with the many attractions that were presented. Bulgaria is known among Polish tourists as a destination offering mostly holidays on the Black Sea. This time, winter, cultural and historical, spa and wellness, as well as sports tourism generated strong interest.
A record number of representatives of the tourism industry were at the Bulgarian national stand, among them 18 tour operators, travel agents, hotels, Sofia Municipality OP Tourism, the Municipality of Bansko, the Municipality of Varna.
On the first day, the Bulgarian representatives were visited by Andrzej Gut-Mostowy, State Secretary in the Ministry of Sports and Tourism of the Republic of Poland, Dominik Borek, Director of the Department of Tourism at the Ministry of Sport and Tourism, managers of leading Polish tour operators, journalists and others.
TTWarsaw is the most significant event on the territory of the Polish country related to the tourism industry, which provides an opportunity to establish contacts with business partners, tourist organizations and administrations, the announcement said.
