Innovation Minister Participates in 10th Turkiye Innovation Week in Istanbul

Minister of Innovation and Growth Milena Stoycheva participated in the tenth edition of the Turkiye Innovation Week in Istanbul where she took part in a discussion on new prospects in medicine and future health trends. Stoycheva said that her Ministry recognizes the health sector as a leading one in terms of innovation development, the Innovation Ministry press service reported on Monday.

The Minister said that the stakes in the healthcare sector are high, and the impact is significant. Fostering innovation is not only beneficial but also extremely important. She added: "Innovation can improve the efficiency of health services. The implementation of technology-driven solutions contributes to a more flexible, responsive and sustainable healthcare system".

Stoycheva and the Executive Director of InvestBulgaria Agency, Mila Nenova, met over the weekend with representatives of more than 50 Turkish companies at the invitation of the Bulgarian-Turkish Economic Council with the Foreign Economic Relations Board of Turkiye. Stoycheva and Nenova introduced the companies to investment opportunities in Bulgaria.

At the invitation of the organisers, the Minister also attended an award ceremony for Turkish innovative companies.
