In 2022, the American Chamber of Commerce in Bulgaria (AmCham Bulgaria) held a number of events in which it continued to push for improving the local business climate and managed to position itself well in Bulgaria, Europe and the United States, AmCham Bulgaria President Olivier Marquette said in a speech at the organization's General Assembly on September 20.

The General Assembly heard a report by the Board of Directors and a financial report for 2022, and a budget proposal for 2023. All documents were approved.

Hannah Kamenetsky, Senior Commercial Officer at the US Embassy in Sofia, said the Mission is happy to have an American Chamber of Commerce in Bulgaria as a really dedicated partner and friend with which it works together in many fields such as rule of law, education, energy, healthcare and digitization.
