Jazz musician Bobby Valchev and Big Band Plovdiv will give a concert at the Ancient Theatre in Plovdiv on August 9, organizers said.

The stage will be lit by 17,000 candles. The idea for the candlelit concert was born in Dubai, according to organizers.

They say that similar concerts with so many candles are rare and the world record is set by a concert in New York with 17,000 candles. The event in Plovdiv is expected to surpass it.

The concert will include a special selection of duets which will surprise the audience.
