site.btaSofia University Rector Meets with Delegation from Colombia

The Rector of Sofia University Prof. Anastas Gerdzhikov met with Doris Dukova, CEO of the Bulgarian-Colombian Foundation ALIANZA, Bogota, and Director of Internationalization at Universidad Catolica de Colombia, Colombia, the university's press centre reported.

The meeting was also attended by Mario Posada Garcia-Pena, Rector of Universidad de America in Colombia, Manuel Fernando Galindo, President of Bacata Business Group, Colombia, and Maria Fernanda Vega, Director of Internationalization, Universidad de America in Colombia.

The talks discussed opportunities for cooperation in the field of renewable energy and climate change. Dukova presented the main goal of the organization - building a research link between Bulgaria and different Colombian universities. The Foundation's task is to promote educational, cultural, technological and social links between the two countries.
