site.btaVazrazhdane Leader: Goritsa Grancharova-Kozhareva Is Unfit for PM

Commenting on President Rumen Radev's decision to designate Bulgarian National Audit Office Vice-President Goritsa Grancharova-Kozhareva as the next caretaker prime minister, Vazrazhdane leader Kostadin Kostadinov told reporters in Parliament on Friday that she is not fit to lead the country.

Kostadinov said: "I would just like to recall a very significant moment from the recent past, when the Constitutional Court ruled that the dismissal of the former head of the Audit Office, [Tsvetan] Tsvetkov, was illegal. Goritsa Grancharova-Kozhareva then refused to let Tsvetkov enter the Office. [...] When a person does not respect the laws in the position they are in, which is much lower than that of the prime minister, imagine what awaits us when this person becomes prime minister."

Kostadinov was adamant that Grancharova-Kozhareva cannot be considered an independent factor and cannot take decisions on her own.
