One of Blue Bulgaria's main priorities is stimulating private initiative, especially of small and medium-sized entrepreneurs, that is why the formation's programme includes a number of measures in this direction, said representatives of the coalition in Varna, quoted by the formation's headquarters. Important highlights of the programme are the gradual easing of the tax burden and reduction of the administrative burden.

The coalition aims for a flat income tax reduced to 9%, and the VAT initially to 19%, and subsequently to 18%, is another measure, as the reduction and simplification of administrative regulations will in turn stimulate more people to try to realize their business and investment intentions. The measures are well thought out and calculated and will not lead to upheavals, but on the contrary, will stimulate business and lead to growth of the economy, added Blue Bulgaria.

The coalition believes that such actions will lead to a decrease in corruption, as well as to limiting the gray economy. All this is equivalent to more money in the budget, which should be invested to achieve better education, health care, social services for people in a disadvantaged position.
