The Government has appointed three more members to the National Social Security Institute (NSSI) Supervisory Board, said the government press office Wednesday. The appointments follow up on a decision to expand the Board with three members nominated by workers' organizations.

The new members are Ministry of Labor and Social Policy Chief Secretary Vessela Nacheva, Galin Zhelev, a director in the Finance Ministry’s State Expenditures Directorate, and Natasha Stoimenova, a director in the Economy and Industry Ministry’s Finance and Property Management Directorate.

The NSSI Supervisory Board includes a chair, two deputy chairs, and 11 members, with one representative of each of the nationally representative organizations of employers and trade unions and an equal number of members appointed by the Government, one of whom must be the National Revenue Agency Deputy Executive Director.
