A book by Dr. Krasimira Todorova from the Macedonian Scientific Institute, tiled "The Republic of Macedonia in Bulgarian Politics, 1989-1996" was presented on Tuesday at the Bulgarian Cultural Information Center in Skopje in the presence of representatives of the Macedonian Scientific Institute, Bulgarian associations in North Macedonia and guests. They were welcomed by the director of the Bulgarian Cultural Information Center,Antonia Veleva.

The book is the result of several years of work by Todorova and contains documents, memories, stories and conversations with eyewitnesses, even participants in some of the events in the recent history of relations between the two countries. The book, which tells how the relations between Bulgaria and the Republic of (North) Macedonia developed from 1989 to 1996 under six Bulgarian governments with many facts but also side stories, is a curious read for anyone interested in the issues, said the representatives of the Macedonian Scientific Institute, where the book was presented at the end of February.
