Four people have been injured in a drone attack in Odessa, two of whom have been admitted to hospital and are receiving medical attention, Mayor Gennadiy Trukhanov said on Telegram.
Damage was caused to residential buildings and two private kindergartens. An operational headquarters has been deployed in Odesa since morning, where applications are being accepted from citizens whose homes were damaged during the drone attack, Trukhanov added.
Odesa energy officials managed to restore electricity to 7,000 clients in the city, regional governor Oleg Kiper said on Telegram.
In some parts of the city, emergency power cuts continue, energy workers are working continuously to fully restore electricity supply, Kiper stressed.
Bulgarians in the Odesa region number more than 150,000 and are the third largest population in Ukraine, according to the official 2001 census. About 50-60 thousand Bulgarians live in the city of Odesa itself. The largest compact Bulgarian population is concentrated in the Bolhrad, Izmail and Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi districts.
