Interior Minister Daniel Mitov has departed for Brussels to participate in a Justice and Home Affairs Council meeting, his ministry said on Tuesday.
The state of the Schengen area, the interoperability of EU systems, the impact of the current geopolitical situation in Syria on the EU's internal security are among the topics to be discussed by the ministers in the framework of the council, the statement said.
