At the BTA National Press Club in Bucharest on Monday, Bulgarian Ambassador to Romania Radko Vlaykov expressed gratitude that, after Bosilegrad and Skopje, a BTA press club was opened in Bucharest. This press club has done a tremendous amount of work in the two years of its existence, he noted.
Vlaykov attended the presentation of the October issue of LIK magazine, dedicated to the 155th anniversary of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences (BAS) and a celebration of the second anniversary of the opening of the BTA National Press Club in Bucharest, as well as the day of the canonization of Venerable Theopahno Basarab from Albotina monastery in Vidin (Queen Theodora of Bulgaria).
The diplomat thanked BTA Director General Kiril Valchev for his personal efforts, as well as the BAS and the Embassy of Bulgaria in Bucharest for celebrating the BAS 155th anniversary . "This anniversary was one of the highlights of the work of the embassy", noted the Ambassador.
Vlaykov recalled scientific and cultural events in Bucharest and Braila, organized jointly with the efforts of the Bulgarian and Romanian scientific communities, BTA and the Embassy of Bulgaria in Romania.
He defined the new issue of LIK magazine as a solid, comprehensive and scientific work, with very up-to-date information during the various periods. He added that the publication can be used by different types of researchers.
