"As the leader of the MRF party and the MRF - New Beginning Parliamentary Group, I express my full support for the position of Bulgarian President Rumen Radev that Bulgaria should not send soldiers to Ukraine in any form," Delyan Peevski, leader of the MRF party and the MRF - New Beginning Parliamentary Group, said in a statement issued by the party's press center on Tuesday.
"As I have firmly stated on many occasions, any other than the already given support for Ukraine and the specific participation of servicepersons has never been and can never be on the agenda, because the most important thing for the people is security for them and their children here and now. And we all have a duty to guarantee it with words and actions," Peevski said.
"I expect all responsible political leaders to do the same and the Bulgarian Parliament and Government to unite with a clear and categorical position that Bulgarian soldiers will not be sent to Ukraine in any form," the press release reads.
