From February 22 to March 20, the participants in NATO's Steadfast Dart 2025 exercise will be redeployed from the areas where the exercise took place to the permanent deployment areas of the participating military formations, the Defence Ministry said Friday. The movement of personnel and military equipment will be carried out on the republican road and rail infrastructure of Bulgaria from Romania toward Greece and Turkiye. Air transport will also be used.

Steadfast Dart 2025 took place on the territories of Bulgaria, Greece, and Romania and involved over 10,000 troops and military equipment from nine allied countries (Bulgaria, France, Greece, Italy, Romania, Slovenia, Spain, Turkiye, and the UK).

The military motorcades will be escorted by Military Police teams.

On February 24 and 25, personnel and military equipment will use the republican road network in connection with the deployment of the Bulgarian contingent to perform tasks within the NATO Kosovo Force (KFOR). The convoys will move along the route Haskovo-Sofia-Gyueshevo border crossing. The movement is in connection with the rotation of the mechanized company in the Bulgarian contingent in KFOR.
