site.btaBulgarian Culture Centre in Bolhrad Hosts Educational Meeting on Mother Language Day

On the occasion of the International Mother Language Day, February 21, the staff of the Regional Centre for Bulgarian Culture in the city of Bolhrad, Ukraine, welcomed graduates from the Regional Centre for Complex Rehabilitation of People with Disabilities. The meeting was announced by the Cultural Centre on its Facebook page.

During the educational meeting the guests learned about Bulgarian traditions, visited the ethnographic room of the Cultural Centre, and visited the library of the institution.

"Everyone's mother language is sacred - respect, learn and spread your mother tongue, because there is nothing greater than glorifying your people and language in front of the world. The mother tongue is an object of real pride!" said the Centre for Bulgarian Culture.

The Regional Centre for Bulgarian Culture in Bolhrad was opened on December 10, 1997. It organizes courses in Bulgarian language, literature and history for those wishing to apply to the higher schools of Ukraine and Bulgaria.
