Exhibition in Parliament Marks Anniversary
of Establishment of Diplomatic Relations
between Bulgaria and China


Sofia, September 20 (BTA) - An exhibition, entitled "Contemplation and Dialogue", , opened in Parliament on Friday, marking the 70 anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Bulgaria and China. The exhibition is organized by the Bulgarian National Assembly, the Chinese Embassy here and Ningbo municipal government,

The exhibition displays 120 paintings by 13 artists from Bulgaria and China who were created during a one-month residency in the respective country in order to explore, get familiar and render its culture.

Chinese Ambassador here Dong Xiaojun said that Bulgaria is the second country which recognized new China, adding that for many years relations have been based on deep friendly cooperation. Thanks to initiatives such as One Belt, One Road and 16+1 economic relations between Bulgaria and China develop steadily, the area of cooperation are expanding and the two-way trade is impressive, the Ambassador said.
