An international forum on major Infrastructure projects in Europe was held in the Bishop’s Basilica of Philippopolis in Plovdiv on Wednesday, said the Plovdiv Municipality.

The event was organized by Confindustria Bulgaria, which is the association of Italian entrepreneurs in Bulgaria. The forum brought together experts from Italy and Bulgaria and was opened by President of Confindustria Bulgaria Roberto Santorelli. Plovdiv Deputy Mayor Plamen Panov and the Italian Ambassador to Bulgaria Giuseppina Zarra were among the participants.

"For 20 years now, Confindustria Bulgaria has been an extremely good partner of the Plovdiv Municipality, with whom we work together and make efforts to make Plovdiv an increasingly better place for business, investment and culture. I believe that our two countries will continue to develop a successful partnership and build mutually beneficial relations and cooperation", said Panov. 

Confindustria Bulgaria was founded in 2000 under the name Consultative Committee of the Italian Entrepreneurship in Bulgaria, with the aim of improving the economic cooperation between Italy and Bulgaria, providing the Italian companies in Bulgaria with new opportunities and supporting the activities of its members. Today, the association has more than 300 member companies.
