August 29 (BTA) - In August 2019, the total business
climate indicator decreased 3.1 percentage points from the
previous month, with declines reported in all economic sectors,
the National Statistical Institute (NSI) said.

In industry, the composite business climate indicator decreased
by 0.8 percentage points as a result of slightly worsened
assessment and expectations of entrepreneurs about the business
situation of their companies.

The business climate indicator decreased by 5.1 percentage
points in construction, 3.5 percentage points in retail trade,
and 4.9 percentage points in the service sector, all due to
downward shifts of business people's assessment about the
